View Full Version : Some General Questions
Hey again,
I've posted here in the past and have been very happy with the responses I have received. I am planning on ordering an NP5796 in the near future and have some minor questions I wish to have answered:
1. From a pure gaming perspective, which would be the best screen resolution for me? I don't really expect to play many games at native resolution regardless, unless it is possible to maintain decent framerates, and I have read that higher resolutions scale down easier.
2. I was wondering if anyone running a 9800M GT (or 8800M GTX for that matter, since I understand performance is comparable) could let me know how well Company of Heroes runs on their machine.
3. I would like to receive my laptop around the end of November. Any suggestions on when I should place my order to meet that date?
Once again, thanks in advance for the assistance.

this is what i ordered, i played mass effect on it and it runs great at high resolution, I can see every single little pixel on the faces of aliens and the shadows are magnificent. I would highly recommend this notebook, its a little loud due to the three fans, but its not even noticeable when your killing aliens, I received my laptop in five days of ordering it, so five days before you need it, order it and put Justin W in the comments for faster shipping.

The 9800M GT performs roughly equivalent to the desktop 9600GT card so you can estimate expected performance by searching for benchmarks on that card.
