Can anyone tell me what make and model motherboard is used in the Sager NP9262. I went on Sager’s web site and downloaded the manual, but it still does not define what brand and model motherboard is used in the laptop. Maybe I am missing something. I would like to read up on this so I can better make a decisions on what memory I can place in this laptop. Also dose anyone know if it will void the warranty if you open up the case and install new memory yourself?

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Dose anyone know of any 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 that has a CAS Latency of 4 or below. The lowest CAS latency’s that I can find is 5, and this simply will not do.

go look in newegg.com, if you can't find it there then don't even think about it anymore...

Why are you so concerned about the memory latency? It's not a huge deal and higher latency is typical on the smaller notebook RAM. The low latency RAM, if you can find it, won't have a significant impact on performance.

Memory is considered user upgradeable.

Thank you for the feedback, and yes I have been on newegg but I really don’t think that newegg is the end-all for computer hardware. And I know low latency memory isn’t the most important aspect of the computers ability to speed threw cycles faster, but yes it does help. And any little gain I can get will be a huge help. But I am glad to hear that it considered user upgradeable.
