Specification
CPU : QX9300 2.53 GHz
Ram : 4 GB 1066 MHz
GPU : Nvidia GTX 280m
HDD : 320 GB 7200 RPM
Including : G500 Gaming mouse, G110 Gaming Keyboard, Case Logic Sleve, Original Bag, Swiss Gear bag
Excellent condition only single cosmetic damage on the back of the lid. I'm asking for $1400 including the mouse and the keyboard. I've never got a single blue screen from the system. It's one reliable system. I'm selling it because I buy a new smaller laptop. Hope it will make the buyer as happy as I was, when I'm using it. I'm living in Seattle so if any serious buyer is near by and want to see the actual system. I'm happy to meet in the downtown Seattle area. Thanks
I have a snowball that I can run through hell and back with, having it not melt, before you get 1400 dollars for that machine.
Consider I just sold a G73JH for 1150 in the seattle area about 2 months ago and your machine is far behind that.

I wonder what the price would be to individually buy everything he's selling...

The low resale prices on the Sager 57xx series due to all the new tech laptops out is what led me to retain my 5793 Laptop and not try and sell it when I bought my G73JH.

Oh really I really don't know that. I thought the CPU might help boots the price up. Thank for the data. I'll have to pull the laptop out and research some more.

I would start at $1000. Not that you will get it but where I would start.
Mav, Hell, snowball? I would buy tickets.

The only redeeming factor is it is a quad core proc but with all the i7's you can get for the same price you are trying to sell yours for plus the fact that the new laptops have some of the latest GPU's it really lowers the price point to sell it for.
A $1000 is a good place to start but like stated doubt you would get that as someone would have to be in the market for that particular laptop to pay that kind of money.
There used to be very few high gaming laptops being manufactured so it was a little easier in the past to sell older tech. With more people purchasing gaming laptops there are options of manufactures out there and the price point has dropped unfortunately.

Its a proven combatant isn't that worth anything?

To the right buyer I am sure it is, good luck finding one though.
As I stated you would have to find someone looking for that particular model with those specs. Someone looking for a gaming laptop is not going to pay $1000 to $1400 with the current options out there. I paid $2,659.00 for my Sager 57xx Laptop back in 1/2008 when I bought my Asus G73 around 2 years later I paid a $1000 less for a gaming laptop that kicked my 57xx butt.
I knew from doing some research I would not get what I wanted for it so I kept it as a machine I use upstairs in my office. I use it like a desktop basically and remote into it from work. I used to sell my old gaming laptops and use the funds to buy my next one but it did not seem worth it this time.
To top it off my motherboard died a good six months or more before I bought my G73 and I found a barebones system on eBay for $369 or so and transfer all my CPU, GPU, Ram and Hard drive over to it. So I have a little more invested in mine as well.

Fact of life.
Sandy Bridge CPUs and the Huron River platform killed everything in it's wake.
Even it's immediate predecessors are greatly reduced in value due to the big performance gap.
You will never get from another person the assumed value this outdated model has in your eyes.
If you need the cash, price it for a quick sale.
Buying too old a model with no warranty is a fools gamble.
