You did and I see but My browser or whatever did not show. I swear.

Getting $1,000 would be great for you. I say because Mav I think got $1200 for his G73JH a few months back. I thought he got top dollar. His did have 8GB RAM 2 HDD's and a 17". Also time has passed.

There are also new Sager offerings. $800 is the start price to move I would not go below that but I can see the buyer disagreeing.

Try and get $1,000 but maybe a bit high?

You might get an offer here. They can't get a better gaming notebook for less money. I know the 5870 is better than the 460m but many don't.

Good luck.

Quick question i added my own OS and had an upgrade CD, can i take that off and keep it for a partition on a mac? i understand it would make the laptop worth less but im wondering if its possible, maybe take off the upgrade i have to ultimate, or the entire OS im not sure. Just wondering tho!
FYI came with no OS!

The notebook will appeal to more people if it has Windows 7 x64 installed on it.Many are fearfull of installing an OS with all the needed drivers and software. It would also show a buyer that the notebook is 100% operational with no hardware issues on arrival.

IMO,a $800 price is what this used pre Sandy Bridge gaming notebooks are worth for a quick sale.At their end of life Sager made some great deals on them.

You have some warranty time left so that's a plus.

Going to an Apple notebook from a Sager NP8690 seems to be a step down.Have you seen the new Samsung UltraThin 13.3" 9 series?

Well i like the battery life of a mac.. but how much would you pay for the laptop? with Win 7 ultimate in it?

I think it would sell for $800. Personally, i think $1000 is a little steep when you can get a new, sandy bridge, 8gig ram NP8130 for $200 more.

Just my 2 cents,

If you ever go to sell for 800-850, I would happily sell my g73jh-x1 for the same price to buy your Sager with equal specs (15"though!)

Like everyones said, 1000 is going to be a slower sell with the current SB offering. Especially looking at the np8130 w/ 460m (okay its not as good as a older 5870, its like 60% of a 6870)

Since you want a MBP and those are not cheap. Post your Sager up on ebay and im pretty sure you'll find someone in the much larger audience for 1k!
