Will the soon to be released mobile quadcores fit in this laptop? I want to know if I should pull the trigger now to upgrade later or wait.

There is no confirmation except that if the quadcore part is 44W+ , IT WILL NOT be used in the unit due to thermal design exceeded limit.
Does that mean we can still install it? Even though it is risky to do so?

Nothing says you can't go against recommendations. It will just void your warranty.

It's really really not recommended that you upgrade the CPU or the GPU in this unit. A few people on the NBR forums already got their laptops, and it definitely runs a bit warm. I think Clevo was right to not included the 9800GTX or any Quad core processors.
Don't upgrade without a cooling pad unless you want to melt your laptop.
I think I will upgrade my laptop in like two or three years after someone prove that they can do it safely.
