Ok, I think I can do this now. I'm sorry for the mess in trying this, but it's much harder than it sounds when you go to put pics here.

I partially designed this graphic because I'm into Egyptology and I know something of the Ancient Egyptian culture and the deities. I chose my favorite of all for this.
Here goes - Enjoy?

Thanks Barb.:) Justin and crew at XoticPC did a great job!:XPCS::notworthy The lid looks like it's made from Lapis Lazuli stone. The skin is not just laid on top with the edges exposed. It looks like the edges are tucked in or somehow put under where the lid and screen bezel meet. (No way for peeling to occur). Then it's heat-form fitted. (No bubbling can occur). Just a high quality job all the way.:XPCS::notworthy I wish I had money and could order more lappies.:)

:laugh:LOL, I don't know about being on a high with my "new toy", but the whole process was fun, doing the config and talking to the folks at XoticPC and stuff. I wish I could do it again.:D I'm also just blown away by the quality of workmanship and everything.
(Though I wish I could have had a bigger budget, but I'm told this lappy will perform better than I expect. I have yet to test it, that's coming soon). It took me two years total just to save up for this one before the economy collapsed on me. I was just in the nick of time to finally get a laptop. I thought I was the only one in the world without one.
Right now I'm working on getting a cooler for it and getting it to stream video and audio through my Receiver to my old TV which is the main purpose I got it for along with replacing a desktop for general computing (and the occasional game of course).

Thanks for the info, but not to worry, I already have a couple in mind to decide on and I don't do Ebay anyway.

So I'm thinking about getting the custom skin option and I was curious how's the skin so far? I think that's a huge question most people have? Has it stayed on there? Is it coming off at all? Any scratches or rips? =]. Thanks!
