My laptop is a G73SW quad core (i7 2630QM), 2 x 500GB SSH, 8 GB RAM.
I have tried the Heaven Benchmark with my laptop and I obtained what I consider a very poor result.
About 14 FPS and a score of 450.
Are this values normal for this computer?
On my desktop, with an older graphics card (1 year old), with only 1 GB DDR5, I obtain about 31 FPS and a score of 780

That's about what you should expect. I got roughly the same on my G73SW at 1080p. Laptop graphics are always significantly behind their desktop equivalent. I seem to recall reading that a GTX460m is roughly equivalent to the desktop GTS 450. Remember, the thermals are so much more important in laptops than in desktops that they have to significantly reduce the strength of a GPU to use it in a laptop.

I know you are right Neuman. And I really don't think to use this laptop for gaming, which is something I usually don't have time to do.
But, with all the gaming performances announced for this model, with the special ventilation, which is really very good, I think, I expected a normal performance.
That's the reason why I asked if this is a normal performance for this laptop.
Thanks for your answer. I see that it is.
