The adapter came that came with my Sager 7680 is 120 watts, but the label on the bottom of my PC says "90 watts max" -- and when I entered the voltage/amperage into the calculator on this site (http://www.laptopshop.co.uk/laptop-notebook-ac-adapter/tip-packs.htm#tipstable), it also recommends a 90 watt adapter...
I tried plugging in a 90 watt universal adapter using a tip that fit, but the PC didn't even register that it was plugged in.
I'm not an electrical engineer so I could be off base here -- but shouldn't a 90 watt AC adapter work?
