I am a college student, I ordered a notebook for school (and gaming ;)) two tuesdays before last from xoticpc. The model does have a delayed build time (5-10 business days) but the lack of updates or anything is a little discouraging. I emailed xoticpc days ago for some progress or information of some type, but never got a reply at all.

Any help here?

I had to wait a bit too, but finally got an email that my laptop is in the next phase, but the online status didn't show that Then this morning my status was upgraded to phase 3. i read elsewhere that the status updating is delayed somewhat do to the orders being filled quickly. I'm sure you will get a response to the email shortly. :)

It's the end of friday. Guess that means I'll be getting no updates saturday, or sunday, or monday due to holiday, and it's already been four days without a reply from an email, and it's been far too long from my order to get no updates whatsoever, it does not take several weeks to ship a laptop. This is getting kind of ridiculous, can't say i can reccomend xoticpc to anyone.

Fair enough, sorry to hear you were disatisfied :(. Since the final arrival of the new technologies, Xotic has been busy building and has probably prioritized that over status updates. Maybe you will change your mind once you recieve your laptop ;).

It's likely. I was quite frustrated when i typed that message. I know that xotic would not make me wait if it wasn't nessesary.
