Condition:
Used, bought from XoticPC, received beginning of February 2011. It was recently returned to Sager to replace the motherboard due to the Intel SATA controller recall. Sager will warranty this laptop starting June 2011 for two years.

Warranty will not cover hard drive or RAM since they were purchased personally but will be warranted by their respective manufacturers.

I won't say laptop is brand new, but it is as close as you can get for being used for four months. A little dust settled between the tiny cracks, etc, but nothing substantial.

Screen has zero dead or stuck pixels.

Battery will last about two hours and has 1.9% wear according to BatteryBar. On battery the system does not operate at full power, this is by design, and just FYI (some people expect to game on battery, not really feasible with these high powered machines).

I did a review of this particular laptop at NBR.

I am a long time user and contributor at forums.notebookreview.com. Justin from XoticPC can also vouch for me as well.

Other:
Why am I selling? I don't have as strong of a need for it as I used to. Laptop works wonderfully, just hate to see it sit unused for most of the time. The selling price of the laptop is not negotiable. If I am to sell it I have to sell it at this price for it to make sense for me financially, otherwise I'm keeping the laptop.

Also, a quick note that the matte screen protector that I applied, it has a few scratches on the upper left and upper right due to an incident during application, but no harm done to the laptop or screen, and is only barely noticeable (to me at least) when screen is black. Matte screen protector can be easily removed and will not harm the LCD screen.

For some reason I can't stand the look of the NP8170, yet I love the look of the NP8130/8150, and I don't know why either.

Good luck with the sale HTWINGNuT

If it wasn't for that damn Redwings avatar! Kidding. Is this still up for sale? It has a few bells and whistles that I wasn't really looking for. But it's still tempting. Let me know. Thanks
