Edit Button Disappears Too Fast

I think the edit button on posts disappears all too fast.

IMO it would be nice to have the ability to add to a post and correct mistakes longer.

I'd also like to see the ability for the original thread starter to edit the thread title as updates become available or a typo needs correcting.

Still EDIT option gone within a day of posting.

Make it so the edit option is always there.

Any way to allow the original poster to edit thread title as need arises?
