View Full Version : Just recieved laptop - Order is wrong.

I ordered 1 DIMM 2GB DDR3 memory. However you sent me 2 DIMM 1GB DDR3. How is this to be solved?

I would really hate to have to pack this laptop back up just to get a stick of RAM correct, is it possible to cross-ship the 2 sticks I have for the 1 stick I ordered? This is rediculous, this is the same thing that happened with my girlfriend's Dell order and Dell's response was too bad. I really hope to see Xotic with a little better service than them.

A forum thread isn't really the best place to try and get a response or help with your order if there was a problem. The best way to get this resolved is to EMAIL our customer service department for further assistance. service@xoticpc.com (service@xoticpc.com)

Please include your order number, a brief description of the problem and our service department will look into this and help get this resolved for you :)

Thanks to Xotic for working with me on this issue.

Xotic contacted Sager for me and had them ship out a 2GB stick of RAM for me. I am amazed that they are going to let me keep the two 1GB sticks until the RAM shows up. That is unheard of.

Agreed. I had a minor issue with my order not being correct also. One was that the Creative X-Fi Xpress card was backordered and didn't ship. I wasn't notified so I thought it had been missed on the order. The other issue was that the TV tuner was missed on the order and was never installed.

After a phone call, the TV tuner was shipped and a tech walked me through the process of installing it over the phone. Not long after, the X-Fi cards were once again in stock and one was shipped to me promptly.

During my numerous phone calls, both Sager and XoticPC staff were very pleasant and their customer service is unbeatable in today's world. Someone made a mistake, just as we all do, but the important thing is they fixed the issue very quickly. I would order from them again and recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Same dude, I have not received my replacement ram seeing as its a weekend, but the service already is unbelievable.
