Quick Question, NP8660

Is there a hotkey combo to turn off the NP8660 LCD permanently until that combo is pressed again? I know fn + F2 turns it off, but if you so much as breathe on the touchpad it wakes it back up.

Hi Zatara - I'm personally not very familiar yet with the 8660's, but I'm betting that you can use the display toggle to kill the LCD screen (i.e. trade it off with an external monitor) even when nothing is plugged into the video output. (On a lot of laptops, I think the combo is Fn+F3.)

If that doesn't do the trick, you could probably also find a solution through some downloaded freeware or maybe even through something in Windows' power management. Hope this helps!
