NP8660 Memory

I've seen several M860TU models that support PC10666 (1333 Mhz) memory. Does the NP8660 have this ability? Would be great for future upgrades.

See http://www.eurocom.com/products/future/specselectfuture.cfm?model_id=196 for example of 1333 Mhz memory in a M860TU.

You could try to install 1,333 Mhz memory, but the system will downclock it to 1,066 Mhz and may cause instability issues. The only stable memory for this laptop is 1,066 Mhz.

As you can also see on Clevo's website here (http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/products/prodinfo_2.asp?productid=122), nowhere do they list 1,333Mhz as compatible memory.

They only list:


Two 64-bit wide DDRIII data channels
Two 204 pins SODIMM sockets, support DDRIII 1066MHz
Expandable memory up to 4GB, depends on 1GB/2GB SODIMM Module
