I will feed the troll here :D , @ troll boy, you are trying to compare desktop to dtr. That is your first mistake, next look at what you can get at the ~1200 price range in a laptop then come back and troll.

This DTR was originally purchased @ $2800, you know what I could of got for that price in a desktop!!!

So $2800, + the $975 GTX480 M upgrade then the SSD @ $280 afew months ago. This DTR has a "desktop processor" not to many out there.

Heck if you want the price lowered I could go $1100 with no ssd and put back in the 250GB HD. But I figured the SSD would make the buy that much more attractive.

BTW your desktop is not worth $1300, I can get a i7-2600 with an ati 6870, 8GB Ram for $1000 brand new from dell.

Thats the problem with selling desktops the market is to big...

i7-930 is worth ~180 and gtx480 ~230 so your at $410 add in mb, case, psu and ram, about ~800 topend brand new...

BTW: I have a m11x R1 for sale too looking for 550 obo...
I forgot that this comes with Windows 7 Ultimate DVD...

Good luck on your sale

actually i could see someone gladly paying 1200$+ for it, the 480m gpu is still good for that price range, it has a main boot ssd and its a sager. your desktop is around half the price (remember gaming laptops always cost 2x the desktop version, so your tower is worth half at best)

You serious???

If Nobody will give me $1,300 for my desktop with a GTX 480, and an i7 930 (plus better memory, psu, motherboard, upgrade options, and we all know desktops are better)

There's no way someone would pay $1300 for that...

Sorry guys, deleted all non-relevant threads to the sale. Remember, this is for people who want to sell their computers, not for people who want to bicker about the price. If you have a problem with the price, PM the poster of the thread and ask them to step down.

Please play nice on my forums or there will be temporary bans. Sorry chunkd, didn't think I'd have to get out the ban-hammer today...

Man, I wish this had been for sale when I was buying a laptop a year ago :p. Sadly, I don't actually need a new laptop at this point - I got one a year ago! But this one, other than being presumably used, is way better than the one I bought, and for cheaper - more ram, a ssd drive and 500 gigs of normal storage and a dvdr (I only got to pick any two of those), and most importantly, 1920x1200. I'm sad to be stuck at 1680x1050, for the indefinite future. (Yes, I ended up back here doing my occasional rounds of googling for wondering if there was any news on the "will we get 16:10 back ever again?" question. Doesn't seem like there is. I'm still hopeful.)

Too bad for you that my current one is good enough. (Too bad for me, this one's still better.)
