FORCE KHLB2 - Screen upgrade

Hi XoticPC!

A while ago I purchased a KHLB2:

This laptop is awesome!! I bought it for WoW, and it still plays the game at "good" settings 80FPS..

Anyways, I am looking to upgrade the screen (I am moderately familiar with building laptops) if possible.

Is there any higher quality screens with a better view angle that would fit in this laptop? Or is there more too it?

EDIT: did a little research, so I need to upgrade my WXGA screen to an LED backlit screen.

The KHLB2 Service Manual has instructions for removing the LCD starting on page 5-19

Save your money for a new notebook when you're ready for one.

IMO,not worth the upgrade cost for a decent quality sceen into an old notebook unless the present screen has problems.
