meh i wouldnt bother downgrading, get a good travel bag for it and tag it along! its going to remain a good mobile desktop for some time yet. if you do have to sell it, it shouldnt be too hard of a sale as its a great little machine.

Depending on warranty, OS included, and where the secondary hard drive actually is; the machine brand new is ~2200. I figure with the current config available 1700 or so is a reasonable price for the machine. Without OS and if it only has a 1 year warranty, drop that to about 1550.

It does only have the one year warranty and no OS. So that does sound very accurate. If anyone thinks 1550 is fair send me a PM and I'd be glad to send pictures or if you live near the WV area, even meet you half way somewhere to allow you to inspect it. The PC's in in like new condition without a single cosmetic flaw. I've taken great care of it and am more than happy to show it off (you have to when you drop over 2k in machine:D )

Practice and library books. Just tinker on stuff until you get it. But, know when to stop before it gets too expensive and you have to call in the professionals. No sense in making it worse than it was.
