First off, I'd like to express my thanks to my service representative, Heidi, who called earlier last week to make sure that my order was correct, & that everything was in proper order.

Coming from being a Dell customer to being an XoticPC customer; my expectations were fairly mainstream-business like, so it was a breath of fresh air to feel like I was talking to a real-down-to-earth person, enthusiastic about their job!

I'd like also, in addition, like to thank XoticPC for the carry-on bag, which was a pleasant surprise (my extra power adapter arrived in it!), for me, as a student! It's wonderful, I like the fact that it, too, is discreet and has no real, discernible brand-name. I feel that it'll get much use in the years to come, especially love the shoulder strap.

The system itself is currently installing my copy of Windows 7 Home Premium. My initial impressions are incredibly pleased. It's very well crafted & designed, though the keyboard will take some getting used to; this keyboard, is very mechanical ~ so having a more 'chiclet' keyboard seems very elegant.

More information(s) shall come as I process things ;)

Thanks a ton for your words of kindness, GoldenSunSage! I sent a link to this thread to Heidi and she says thank you as well. :)

Please let us know if you need any further assistance! We're glad to have another happy Xotic PC customer.

Performance so far has been wonderful. I love how the new keyboard feels, as I said before, it feels very elegant. It's very smooth, and feels as if something major would have to happen for anything like a letter or a number key to get stuck.

On the other hand, I only had League of Legends to play for my casual games, (I'm looking at you Steam (eating up bandwidth since then). However, that being said, I've had a constant 100+ FPS on High/Ultra settings at 1920x1080 native resolution, which completely shatters my experience with my other laptop. LoL feels like a completely different game, it's incredible!

I'm currently waiting on Portal 2, Mass Effect, & a bunch of other games to confirm the same experience that I've had with League of Legends. I would list more games, but I need to write a paper on Net Neutrality by next Wednesday, *laughs* Deus Ex: Human Revolution will look amazing as well, if judging only by how it looked on my GTX 460M.

Does XoticPC have any suggestion on what to do with my old machine? It's still, I'm sure, fairly viable if I purchase another official adapter for ~$50.00 from eBay, contacted a NBR(Notebook Review member, (Svl7), and managed to find one). On the other hand, now that I have this dream-machine; I was wondering whether you guys knew of any recycling options?

Also, in the future, I'd definitely like to look inside the internals of this Sager 8150, is there a suggested toolset somewhere? While we have plenty of screw-drivers around; I'd really like to avoid stripping* (is this the right word?) or damaging any nails by purchasing a proper screw-driver/tool-set. What do you guys at XoticPC use in Nebraska?

Disassembly guide: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?4pgzpk7dft1wq42

Good set of tools: http://www.amazon.com/Piece-Premium-Computer-Tool-Kit/dp/B0045KYOGM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1317911135&sr=8-3

Best Buy has a recycling program I believe. Unfortunately I can only really suggest the for sale section of NBR or maybe craigslist.

1 Magnifier Headgear
2 Blower
3 Small Screwdriver Set
4 Assorted Plastic knives
5 Guitar Pick
6 Cleaning Brushes
7 Awl
8 Curved Tweezers

The plastic knives are used to separate notebook parts that are held together by plastic snaps like the LCD frame and keyboard.Metal tools leave scratches and toolmarks.

...I'm pretty sure I like SmogHog's suggestion a little more than my own :)
