VBIOS Flashing and Safety Procedures:

Always make a VBIOS backup, before start messing with your VBIOS!!
You can do this with GPU-Z: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/)
or with Nvidia Flash Tool[under windows]: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2005/.html (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2005/.html)
command line to take a VBIOS backup:
nvflash.exe -b org.rom [ENTER]
command line to flash your modified VBIOS from cmd:
nvflash.exe -4 -5 -6 mod.rom [ENTER]
Where:
org.rom is the name of your original VBIOS
mod.rom is the name of your modified VBIOS, you can replace it if needs with your name,
but file extension must end to .rom [etc: another example: mybios.rom or similar]
Before start flashing your VBIOS:
* Close all applications that are currently running and can be closed!
* Close especially any Antivirus Scanners and any other resident scanners!
Those steps are need to prevent and avoid VBIOS update interruption.

DO NOT TURN OFF OR REBOOT MACHINE DURING THE FLASH PROCESS!!!!!
A bad flash will probably turn your VGA into an unusable state.
When something goes wrong during the VBIOS update like:
Lost electric power, PC crash or reboot
That will stop your machine from booting!
IF this happened you have to perform a VBIOS recovery.

The author of "Svet's VBIOS Tuner (http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=148273.0)" (video HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J6f7dOeiBI&feature=player_embedded)!), has graciously just completed a new version (0.56p) supporting the GTX 570M (http://forum-en.msi.com/svet/vul7mj5tf3x/Svet's%20VBIOS%20TunerSetup_056p.rar).

This of course, did not come without considerable time and effort..... so if anyone is interested, stop by his thread, and show some love! Svet also says he will add other nVidia mobile GPU's if folks will show their interest and support his work.

Just to point out, this software is not free. He requires a donation to get it and I don't know if there is a minimum donation or not.
