Here are all the 17 inch screen machines that also offer a BlueRay/DVD burner drive.
These are just sample configs I did, only my opinions. You can change anything you want. (Like if you wanted to get an SB X-FI external soundcard or something, you can add that in, whatever you like).:)

This first one is what I like to call the beast of the Sager line. It has room for 3 hard drives and comes standard with two. Keeping in mind what you will be doing with the machine of your choice I built this sample config. I used a 320GB 7200 rpm HD as the primary and put the slower 500GB 5400 rpm as the second in “non-raid”. I see you wanted a 500GB HD, but in thinking about the demands of video editing and various multimedia I am assuming you would want something a bit more robust in the speed area. (I’m just thinking about rendering and the like here).
I also see you put “NA” under the Operating System desired in your request so I am assuming you will be loading your own? I also assumed 4GB memory in case you load a 64 bit OS.

Finally we have a non-dual HD machine. You might have noticed a couple of machines here with a GPU with 1GB of memory instead of 512MB. This counts big in gaming, but for what you say you will be doing a GPU with 512MB will also do well.
This machine offers a 500GB HD but its 5400 rpm and so I opted for the 320 GB 7200 rpm here again for the same reasons.
If more space is needed you could always go out and get an external HD or two.
