I am trying to run my computer on my 40" 1080p Samsung, however, it seems like all the edges are off the screen and I cannot figure out how to adjust the edges.

A couple of things come to mind. You may already know or have tried, but just to double check.
Make sure the resolution on your PC matches the resolution on the TV.

I think there should also be a function in the control panel of your GPU that will read the TV and adjust itself. (It's some kind of wizard set up program). In other words, your telling the PC that there is a TV connected.

What method of hook up are you using? (S-vid, VGA, HDMI, DVI)

The settings are in the nVidia control panel... I believe you need to set up a custom resolution to match the TVs :).

I tried a custom resolution, the edges still hung off the screen.
