5791 Dvd drive won't read DvDs. Help.

I have the 5791 my dvd drive reads cds and normal software but anything that is a dvd (movies or games) won't play. I tried a cd lense cleaner to no avail. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. Also no improvement. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. This is off topic but I would like to upgrade the memory. Does anyone know what the clock speed is for this model? I know it's ddr2. Thanks.

This is a matter for tech support. I would suggest giving them a call as they will be able to help you quicker.

the memory should be the 667Mhz DDR2
