MSI announced a new GT780DX gaming notebook model which features an Intel second generation Core i7 quad core processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 570M discrete graphics with 3GB of GDDR5 display memory.

If you get more for the same price,why not!

If there's an increase in price and just a slight benefit in performance in some benchmark may not be worth it.

Probably just another marketing gimmick to keep sales going before Ivy Bridge and a new generation of GPUs are shipping.

Now that's a pretty slick deal. To order a similar MSI GT780DX-215US model would be $1933, but this includes a slightly beefier GPU. Overall, this is what I'll be purchasing as soon as it becomes available on XoticPC. :)
