I'd like to apply some custom skins to the top of my new Sager 9262 but that dumb badge is in the way. Does anyone know if this is just stuck in the middle with adhesive, or is it actually sitting in some kind of indentation? The custom paint images on this site don't show the badge as far as I can remember, how it that handled by XoticPC?
Thanks!

Hi Ricowan,
I believe the badge is in the middle of the lid and sits indented. XoticPC professionally applies the skin over the lid (actually molded to it), badge and all and you will only see the indentation where the badge is at certain angles. It's not a big deal, your skin will still look great and professional.:)
I had my Force 3298 skinned and it was the same way, just a little smaller badge.:D

Thanks. I'm looking at some of the after-market laptop skin sites, so I'm not sure how "flexible" they are as far as fitting over the badge. I'd really rather just remove it, but not if it's going to ruin my laptop top. heh

By the way, the Sager badge is raised above the surface of the laptop lid on my 9262. That's why I want to remove it.
