A few hours after MSI put up the links to the GT783 and GT685 under gaming notebooks they took them down;that's why the 404-Page Not Found.

It's too bad that the 16f2 model can't have the GTX580m in it. I can't afford the 783 so it's making me mad.

The GT685 is not slated for a release in the United States.

It was released here in Seoul yesterday.

At the price they are selling it for you'd need to rob a bank.

Doing a price comparison to a GT683DX it's about $2,000 more.

Oh,it does have the GTX580M,BD burner,16Gb DDR3-1333.750GB HDD and a crappy SATA II 120GB SSD.

If you can somehow find a GTX580M MSI or Sager graphics card you can replace the GTX570M with it because the heatsink is the same on both the GTX570M and GTX580M.

The GTX560M heatsink is different so both would need to be changed for a GTX580M upgrade.

Also some new 0.5mm thermal pads are needed for additional chips.

The 180W power adapter is the same on MSI GTX570M and GTX580M notebooks.

MSI GTX560M units have a 150W AC Power Adapter which is not powerful enough.

The ones taken from Dell Alienware models have throttling issues.

I thought about getting a completely stripped down Force with a GTX580M and swapping it with a GTX570M from the GT780DX and then giving the Force to my son.

I have lots of extra parts that would make this work but I may just wait for a Haswell Shark Bay platform model in 2013nand sell the GT780DX then.
