I have Purchased a G1S from you and I am wondering what type of RAM it can have. Right now I have 2, 1GB Ram cards and I am thinking about takeing it to 4GB (2, 2GB cards).
MB:G1S ID1A
Thanks
PS, I am running Vista Buisness, will it see all 4 gigs?

You will need 64-Bit to use over 3GB. The Ram is major brand ram that Asus provides in the G1. Any major brand will work fine in the G1S :)

Ok, great. I see the G1S is now offered with a 3GB option. I assume then that I can place a 1GB and a 2Gb chip in this thing?

Forgot to ask, do they need to be matched? I can only find 2 or 4gb of matched ram.
Can I leave one of the 1gb in, and simply add a 2gb chip?

If you want to run Dual Channel you will want two of the same sized module. You can run it the other way also but will not run in Dual Channel.
