I just picked up a customized shiny new Force 3675 (FORCE 3675 (ASUS S96J / Z96J, Intel Centrino Dual Core 15.4" WXGA+ATI X 1600 256MB Video+DDR2 667), and am having a devil of a time loading Windows XP on it. Has anyone else run into issues with the initial install of Windows XP blue-screening out on pci.sys? I've tried several different CDs and images (from standard XP Pro to SP2 + patches slipstreamed) from different sources with the same results. Thanks in advance.

Can you tell me what error code you are getting?

The 'Technical information' portion of the BSOD is:
*** STOP: 0x0000007E {0xC0000005,0xF748E0BF,0XF78DA208,0XF78D9F08)

*** pci.sys - Address F748E0BF base at F7487000, DateStamp 3b7d855c

Below is a link to an image of the complete BSOD itself. It's a touch small, but I can provide a full sized (2592 x 1944) one if needed.

How old is the XP you are installing? Have you run memtest86?

I've been out of town for a few...

I ran memtest86 and it kicked out a few errors, so I replaced the RAM and picked up a brand new copy of XP and so far things are working well. Thanks for the help, Justin.
