What to clean laptop with?

I purchased the NP 5796 from here in July and so far, all I have done is drool all over it. As such, I need to find something to clean the laptop's plastic/outside that won't damage the shiny finish. Any cleaning products that are recommended? Also, what's the technique on cleaning the screen?
