I would like to flash my bios to a newer version.
Where can I get the files and instruction to do so?

Thanks in advanced :notworthy

I did this on my NP8660 and it didn't add any extra support that I can see, but maybe it'll work for you idk. Justin sent me mine by email, PM him.

Is there a reason you need this?

What kind of computer do you have and how old is it?

The main reason to flash a BIOS is if you plan to upgrade to specific hardware that wasn't supported when the computer first came out but is supported in a new BIOS update. An example would be upgrading the CPU.

In some cases some feature may have been added, or taken away. The general rule is never flash a BIOS unless you have specific problems that you have isolated to a hardware issue that has been addressed in a BIOS update.

Right, a BIOS flash isn't an "Update" but rather an "Alternate Version" of sorts. I flashed my BIOS because of an issue I was having with my sound card (I got the Creative X-Fi Notebook card). I wouldn't do this unless you are having some issues with your NP8660.
