Before I go ahead & decide to add Vista 64bit option in customize for a new laptop, I need to know if Xoticpc will include windows vista media/disc even with security key for it? Would it be OEM media correct? I assume so because of the price, but I like to be sure. Or would it be system restore media manufactured by Xoticpc? I could opt no microsoft windows in customize then order one at newegg.com instead but some types of laptops here doesn't have no windows option.

Second question, if I opt for vista to come with laptop, do Xoticpc usually install windows on laptops for customers regardless if customers want to install windows on theirs or would I get to install windows on laptop myself?

Third question, why some laptops doesn't have no windows option included and twice the cost if I choose Vista 64bit over 32bit?

I can answer your first question. Someone else had the same question and one of the representatives with XOTIC said that the laptop will come with the full install disc(s) and not a system restore media - so you should be set in that regard.

2) If you buy they will do?
3) Badly asked but some don't offer 64?

Ok, I read some past threads that people do get system restore disc with their computers. When did Xoticpc changed it to OEM for customers? Because if my harddrive fails that I would need to replace a new one, I don't think system restore disc would work to reinstall the windows. Because I believe it needs to access for files in one of partitions, typically previous fixed by tech builders, on harddrive that came with it to restore the system?
