I got a sager 2096 and i would like to know how to disable the tap to click function for the touchpad. I dont see the option in the point options.
I made this thread before in another forum, no help there and thats why i made it again.

From what I was able to Google, that model uses an ALPS touchpad.
The drivers for that specific model/brand of touchpad seem to have options to disable the touch to click once you install them, but other forum reports are sketchy on this.
Here is a link to a search on Notebookreview.com that shows a ton of forum posts on the subject of the 2096 touchpad. Without knowing which OS you're running, I can't link to a direct file anywhere, but a lot of people seem to be using ones from DELL. Do a seach there also for "2096 tap to clicl" and you'll find more posts on the same thing.

Here is the link to the DELL touchpad installer if you want to give it a shot and see if it enables the option.

Synaptics and ALPS are the 2 most common touchpad makers that are in use, so its just a matter of getting the right driver somehow.
Best of luck.
