8662 fingerprint reader

Sometimes when I log into my computer it says the fingerprint reader is diconnected. Other times it disconnects while im using the computer. Does anyone know a solution to this or have the same problem? Im using windows 7 rc1.

I'm having the same issue. Seems to occur when my laptop's been asleep for awhile. Don't know a fix for it, but I usually go to device manager and disable/reenable it to bring it back online.

That did it, thanks alot. Its kind of a pain to have to do that but at least it works.

I have seen that as a problem with RC1. I have been unable to find a driver for that yet. Im glad at least for now you have a workaround.
