The Sager np5792/3 is not available in a barebone, however, you can purchase the laptop excluding the memory and hard drive :D

Keep in mind when you purchase a barebones (or without a hard drive or ram) that your warranty will not be at one central location. If for some reason in the future you have to send it in for repair and your parts are found to be the reason for failure you will have to take care of that on your own. :(
One more thing to keep in mind is that Sager & Xotic PC's technical support will not support any issues related to parts you have added to the system.

from everything I've read sager really doesn't do anything at their own risk anyways one example is the upgrade agreement for the np5791. As long as I buy the parts individually I still get the warranty for those parts so I really wouldn't need to go through sager anways.

It is the inconvenience I was speaking of. It sounds like you have everything set up. :)
