Windows 7?

Hey guys, when I installed win xp on my np 8662, I had to change the bios setting from vista to xp. Is there anything I need to change for windows 7? I didnt have to on my old dell, and my sager is being fixed, so just wondering

Nope, just use the Vista setting. I'm running it right now and it works perfectly fine.

i have both when set bios to xp and then try to run win 7 your hdd temps willb ehigh than when running bios on vista ahci enabled. made about 5-10oC diff for me 500gb hddd

I also agree. Change your IDE settings back for vista or windows 7. Even though it works, it wasn't meant to use that setting.
