A copy of my email to customer service.
If anyone can help i would be appreciative

Hello I have a couple problems. Customer support has really taken too long to keep in touch.. online chat i have tried and waited 30-40 minutes, and emails take about a day. Since I am moving into college i cant take the time to rma or ship it back to be fixed; however i need things fixed nonetheless.

Attached is a doc with screen shots, my harddrive temps have reached 70oC now its 68oC..i thought I had this stuff fixed with the bios and changing things to ahci setting. I dual boot xp and win 7 so when i want to get on xp i need to change the bios back to xp. maybe its ambient room temp but i mean the threshold tem of the harddrive is 0-60 running -40 to 70 inactive....now its been consistently at 60 for doing nothing. it used to me 54 maybe its the ambient rooom temp??? i am staying at a diff place ambient temp is like 80-90

second problem is motherboard beeping i dont know the code or how many i think it is 3 beeps., sometimes its 2...all have pauses

3rd Wifi on xp cant connect to internet even though it works on win 7..I will try to fix it with downloading the drivers again.<- this has been fixed.

4th I cant connect to online servers the problem is not my win 7 firewall, comodo firewall, adaware anti spyware, avg anti virus, i have turned them all off. I can not find support anywhere on google and the tech support forums. I think it has something to do with the hardware settings but i cant find a way around it online. <- this may be b/c of win 7 not the laptop, I am now able to use it on xp just not win 7.

Drake could you give me a little more information. I would like to know your model, or even your order number if you have it would be helpful so I get familiar with the components you are working with.

Have you tried searching Google or the manufacturer of your hard-drives website for updates in firmware at all? There might be a firmware update that will fix the temperature issues. When the hard drive is running hot with nothing going on, is the fan idle as well? Also what 3rd party program(s) if any are you using to monitor temperatures.
Also try looking in task manager during these times of high rises in temperature to see if there are any programs that are hogging resources or causing the computer to spin up the hard-drive. Just sort all your processes by CPU in ascending order and watch it for a couple minutes.

Here is a website listing BIOS codes and what each beep means. To verify which company your BIOS is from you can usually find out by opening a command prompt and typing in the command "systeminfo" without quotation marks. It should be the 16th item from the top starting from the beginning of the list of information. It will say BIOS Version: Then list your BIOS manufacturer and current version. Match that up with the list in the website to verify what the beeps stand for then list that information in your next post.

I monitor my temps with cpuid HW monitor

I have the Sager 8662 stock, with the 500 gb hdd, and 4 gb ram ddr3.

the beeping is less frequent but i have yet to learn what a 1 beep sounds like a 2 and 3 etc.

#12445 is the order number

Now I have gotten 2 bsod's and I dont know why. I have not done anything other than email/facebook/skype/ and dynasty warriors 6/fallout3.

i have several security measures installed and ran like several hours of test and there is no infection.
