I have an NP9262 with an nVidia GeForce 8800m GTX card and I'm wondering if I should get another card and put them in SLi. As of now I'm fairly satisfied by my machine's performance while playing games. I play COD 4 mostly, and I can run it on high settings at 1920x1200, but the frame rate goes down and I have to turn anti-aliasing either down or off. Obviously I am content with this, as I still get pretty amazing graphics with lower setting, but would it be worth it to get another 8800 and use SLi? And if so, how much would it cost/where can I buy one? Thanks.

To answer some of the questions. It seems the best place to buy these cards would be ebay. You could try to contact someone at a retailer (ie. xoticpc) but I'm guessing the better price would be ebay, however you might not get everything you need for sli (cables/cooling system/thermal paste etc.). As for the price, a quick trip to ebay would give you a good idea how much an extra card would cost. (you'll have to do the leg work yourself on that one since ebay is blocked on the pc I'm using)

Is it worth it? well thats up to you really, whats your budget, what can you live with. from what I gather, you are still pretty happy with the performance of your rig and from last check on my part an extra 8800 will run around $400-$500. It wouldn't be worth it to me, but thats my opinion.

Good Luck
