View Full Version : Msi gt729
Hello, I'm very keen on buying a budget laptop gamer and the MSI GT 729 dual core is the perfect fit for me.
I'm just wondering if there is any additional costs to the price mentioned on the item.
Do xotic pc charge for shipping or any other hidden costs that are not included in the price?
Besides that I have to pay a hefty VAT of 25% to import it to Norway so that kinda sucks, but it's still cheaper than buying it here :P

Hello and welcome to XoticPC!
The MSI GT729 is a great model. XoticPC doesnt have any additional costs, however of course you will have to pay for shipping to Norway. If you would like to email me your full shipping address at Joseph@xoticpc.com I could get you a quote for the shipping cost. We offer both UPS and USPS as shipping options.
Please also email me with any other questions you have.
Thanks
Joseph

Is the Gt729 actually coming out in the U.S? I've been waiting for quite a while. MSI kept on delaying it..........When is Xoticpc expecting a shipment of them?

Harrison we have been contacting our current customers today who have this model on order. MSI has cancelled the US release of this computer. I am very sorry. Everyone has been waiting a long time for this model to release. Finally today we at least have received enough confirmation that we are requesting to our customers to reselect.
Please email me at Joseph@xoticpc.com if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Joseph

As I was interested in the two MSI models, too, what would be alternatives to those computers at that price and performance? Sager 8662?

Yeah I would say the np8662 or even one of the new i7 laptops are worth a look. The np8690 or the 8760. They give a lot of performance for the money.
