I recently bought a Sager NP8662 recently I've noticed 2 problems.
First, the headphone jack is intermittently functional. The built in speakers work fine, but the headphone jack will regularly completely cease to function. A restart will almost always cause it to start working again. I've noticed no pattern in when the sound shuts off. It's never just cut out while I'm playing a game or listening to music, but I almost always find myself having to restart the computer to turn on the sound. I've reinstalled the Sager audio drivers twice with no effect. I've had the computer for about 2 months now, and the jack functioned fine when I initially got the computer, and the problem seems to have developed over time.
The second problem is with the trackpad, which has been this way since I got the computer. Around the middle of the trackpad is an invisible line, where if you move your finger across it horizontally, the cursor will jump about an inch to the left or right, depending on which direction your finger was moving. I've also reinstalled the trackpad drivers a few times with no effect.
Anyone experienced either of these problems before? I'm under warranty, but I'd really rather not have to send my only computer away if these are just driver issues or something.
