Hi everyone, I bought a Sager NP5790 about 5-6 months ago and a week ago I plugged in my headphones in the headphone jack and didn't get any sound. It recognizes that I've plugged it in but it doesn't make any sound...I've tried the jack with several other headphones and my speakers too but nothing works.

There are 2 other jacks that I can use as headphone jacks but their sound quality isn't the same as the headphone designated jack, and they don't get as loud.

I've tried reinstalling drivers and nothing seems to work. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thank you!

Sounds like a hardware issue to me . The headphone jack must`ve died due to electrostatic buildups .
Sadly, if that is the case, a RMA will have to be issued and the mobo replaced.
I would expect this to be the worst possible scenario though :D
