What market is this appealing to? Honestly all it offers is a low resolution screen vs it's competition? I mean it has a weak GPU compared to others. I mean what does it compete against. $3000. Why don't I just get an Asus G71GX-A1 for $1000 less. Or the Sager's. What am I not getting?

I wondered the same thing. The only appeal it has is the Lamborghini endorsement, and certain aspects of its case design are advertised to parallel the design of the actual car. Other than that, the hardware seems to be sub par for the huge(huge for a broke grad student, probably not for someone who drives the Lamborghini) price.
I guess there must be rich fools out there, with no idea about computers, who think that more expensive MUST mean BETTER, and that surely a huge name brand like Lamborghini would never endorse something crappy like the VX5. And like they say, a fool and his gold are soon parted...

I checked it out aswell.... When I read through the specs i thought, maybe it's lighter.. or has longer battery life.
Well, it turns out this is almost 8lbs!
I think it's all about the design. maybe it sits well in the door pockets of the Lambo. Maybe the Lambo drives faster with it :D
...something we will never know...
