Just ordered- Questions

Hi.

I just ordered a UL80VT - I got the x25-m upgrade.

Im curious if when you ship the laptop to me, does it come with the original HD as well or do you guys keep it?

Also- Is it possible to have the laptop NOT ship with windows 7 and instead just give me a 100$ credit or something? I already have a cdkey for win7.

It says that its a 15.6 inch display in the summary/specs when its a 14.1 :)

Nice catch on the screen size in the description. As you say not 15.6" but 14.1 which is correct where you customize.

On your question of do you get the HDD? I think no. Asus does charge a lot for any modification but no you do not get even if the price looks like you should. And unlike where the Sager's give the option of no OS Asus does not. Nice buy though and welcome to Xotic!

But wait for one of the J's to comment as I am not connected so could be wrong.

I meant, the UL80vt comes with a harddrive. I ordered a upgraded harddrive. Was just curious if I get both, or only the upgraded one
