Hello,
I currently have a adapter that the range of the Current and Voltage is around the necessary range for the NP8662 adapter, but it seems that has an max output of 100Watt max instead of 120W.
Is it still possible to use it? or do i have to purchase one with 120W?

I myself would recommend you a nice inverter, they have ones at radio shack that can use a car adapter, a normal plug, and a usb port at the same time. Very good stuff and it goes right into your car adapter. Don't leave home without one.

Well, even if i got an inverter, im still curious about the wattage. Does it have to be 120W?

It's highly recommended that the wattage, amperage, and voltage match up otherwise you can cause damage to the notebook.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread, is there any place that provides and car/air adapter that will work for the NP8662? i do believe xoticpc had an option of buying that when purchasing the laptop, but is it possible to purchase individually?

You can find the car adapter for your Sager np8662 in our accessories section here (http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-specific-accessories-sager-np8660-8662-c-95_51_145_198_227_269.html)

Would that adapter also work for air flights?

The car adapter will only have the cigarette adapter end on it. I believe the airlines have a different power plug in their planes.
