I just checked and found a tracking number in my inbox! I can't wait! My lappy will be here on Thursday (according to UPS). Is sig required upon delivery? I have to either get my neighbor to accept the package, or I'm calling in sick! There's NO way I'm gonna miss the UPS guy and impose another 24 hours of hell upon myself!

Xotic even called me yesterday to ask me if I wanted to wait on the 2nd vid card (24th March) or if I wanted them to ship it out immediately! That's what I call service. :D

IT has arrived! At 11:11am EDT the UPS dude knocked on the door and was holding a magnificent Sager box, balanced carefully on one knee, using the wall to keep it from sliding, so I could sign his siggie thingy (and yes, that is its technical name). I scribbled as fast as I could to get my hands on the box and out of the danger zone. I have unboxing piccies, oh my gosh, I have a ton of them! It was almost ceremonial, the holiest of moments, maybe I should have dressed formal? Nah....

Holy crap! This thing is sweet. (I'm typing on it right now), I can't wait to play some games and install the rest of my stuff. I'll have benchies later (after the 2nd vid card's in), but for now I'm just happy to see that the WEI is only brought to its knees by the HDD (5.3)... Alas, I'll have to wait just a wee bit longer, until I have transferred my enormous collection of files over the network.

I'm officially in silicone heaven. Thanx Xotic! :D
