View Full Version : HDMI no audio PLZ help

i tried searching but couldnt find much of ANYthing on the extreme force 840 laptop.. everything seems to be Sager..
anyway I cant seem to get any audio out when the HDMI is plugged in.
nothing out of the optical out or the built in speakers.:confused:
It wont even give me the choise of how many speakers i have. on my realtech audio card
any advice from Gurus out there?>
tech support on the phone is useless (cant get ahold of anyone) let alone email or a call back uhhh:eek:

Call Xotic that is OCZ and there are issues of who owns I believe. I forget but OCZ or Arima or whoever. Call Xotic Force is theirs.
I do not do HD so can't help but HDMI and audio is a common problem I just don't know the answer.

I called them and the person I spoke with seemed to be incompetient..
it took 20 mins into the call and they could not even find a record of my purchase!!! even with the tag number.
they searched many ways and they would not help me because THEY could not find the information (no i dont have it anymore either)

Sorry to hear. You can PM Justin W or Joseph I am sure they will get the wheels of help rolling. I wish I could help but I can't. I can't even get my Sprint broadband to recognize SDHC card?

If you bring up the audio output devices can you set the HD audio as default output device?
I know I have to do that whenever I use HDMI to get sound. Then I have to set the speakers as default output when I disconnect.
