Never really understood it, I know I can still do it, but It's always been so fast I never needed it. And when you RAID your drives if one crashes they all crash. At least the one that I was interested in doing.

RAID 0 - Strip all drives so you get 1.5TB
RAID 5 - You can have 1TB of data, and if any one of the drives fail you can still restore them.

I think you looked into RAID 0, but would have been interested in RAID 5.

With these multi-harddrive laptops, i believe it's imperative to RAID them.

I'd like to better understand what you meant by "ETA Late May"? Is this when you'll be shipping out this laptop?

When was this laptop purchased?

I'm curious as to why you are selling it - too heavy? Does it overheat? ANy issues with it? Or just need the cash?
