I'm having a bit of a problem with my gpu clock speeds underclocking by default. I know it underclocks when on battery power but even when i'm on ac, gpu-z is showing it as underclocked. i have tried uninstalling the driver, restarting and installing the 167.44 driver and restarting again and i still shows up as underclocked. help please.

Did you try disabling PowerMizer in the NVidia control panel?
Also driver version, operating system version will be useful - tech support will ask that info ;)

ya I called Xotic but they couldn't help me out beyond updating driver from Sager website, etc. which I have done (167.44). The tech support guy said he would leave a message with Sager and they should contact me, because Sager no open on weekends. I am running Vista HP. There is no such thing as PowerMizer in the NVidia control panel.

I have searched the NVidia control panel up and down and no where can I find Mobile Settings or PowerMizer....

Powermizer was not available because you were using hacked Laptopvideo2go drivers which were initially designed for desktops, which do not use powermizer.
Get the latest drivers from Laptopvideo2go with WHQL .

Have you found a driver revision that works with Powermizer on Vista 64?
I ask because the latest WHQL drivers that appear on laptopvideo2go are 167.43... which is what you/sager/clevo provide for the 9262 (in december). The latest xotic/sager/clevo drivers available are 167.44... and neither of these enable powermizer for me.
Have you tried the laptopvideo2go inf? Does that perhaps enable something that Sager/Clevo forgot to when they packaged their drivers?

The problem is, I will only use Sager sanctioned drivers, right now I am using 167.44, so I guess I will have to wait until they release a new update. LoL, "hacked Laptopvideo2go drivers which were initially designed for desktops," so you are saying that the drivers Sager releases on their website are "hacked" and I should "get the latest drivers from Laptopvideo2go with WHQL?" Can anyone vouch for this advice?

FYI, I'm NOT going to mess with inf crap, all I've heard is bad news.

People have been reporting good performance with the 174.x drivers.Problem is everyone had different results with them. You`ll have to try them on and see which one fits your particular system.
Start with the latest 174.x that has WHQL and if it`s not good enough, try another :)
