redid the survey. basically im looking for good battery life, good screen, and decent cpu
General Questions
1) What is your budget? about 1200, maybe more if its a big difference
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
b. Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen
c. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? no
5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? electrical engineering college work, multi-tab browsing/youtube type stuff, lots of music and movies, some gaming(mostly cs, nothing too intense)
6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk? yes. itd say 50-50. its going to be for college
7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games? some, just cs and pretty easy stuff like that
8) How many hours of battery life do you need? the more the better. id sa 3 hours would be a minimum
9) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person? no
10) What OS do you prefer? (more details below)
win 7 64. i have an extra disk, so none would be fine

Widescreen
atleast 1680x1050. but if there was some crazy good battery, id consider less. would prefer a 1080 screen tho
12) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non glossy screen? doesnt matter too much to me. both have their advantages
Build Quality and Design
13) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you? not really
14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last? 2-4 years

15) How much hard drive space do you want; atleast 320 if hdd, but 128 if ssd
16) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, CD/DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive? atleast cd-dvd burner, but blu ray would be a nice feature
17) What speed CPU/Processor would you like? Dual core or Quad Core CPU?
id like an i5, but if an i7 had good battery, id be good with that
