It's perfect! Thanks a lot to you people at XoticPC for this! It was very well packed, not a single scratch, all clean. :D
Unfortunately I got it 2 days before my math exam so I'm gonna have to wait for a while before I can play with it fully. ;) I was reading some owner's lounge somewhere, and someone was talking about high temperatures then someone suggested removing the 'plastic covers on the fan'. He tried it and it was better. Do I also have to remove some 'plastic covers'? I don't see anything.

My advice would be to leave things alone and intact until or unless you have any issues.

Physical manipulation of hardware is a very bad idea and I do not recommend it at all. Like sniff said, I would only do it if there was a bad problem and really only as a last resort. Don't damage your new toy! If the laptop had very bad problems it wouldn't be selling...

Two words for you: "laptop cooler"
A good one like a Zalman is around $60, but woth it at the end of the day.
I would wait a bit before running out and getting one unless you know you will be heating things up a lot. See what temps you get without one first and if there is an issue, go get the cooler.
I also agree with the others here, DO NOT go removing things that are there for a purpose and modifying stuff. If you have no problems and you go and do that you will have problems and probably void your warranty.

Congratulations on your new toy!
To address your concerns, yes, there is a sticker on one of the in-take vents on the underside of the unit. I would recommend removing that sticker. It doesn't really serve any purpose that anyone can figure out, and removing it has lowered my temps by ~10C at idle. Of course, YMMV.
Removing it is easy, as the sticker is attached to the inside of the vent on the panel. It's simply a matter of unscrewing 9 screws, turning that panel over and peeling off the sticker. No need to touch any of the actual hardware.
The cooling on this machine is superb. Just remove that sticker and no need to buy a cooler.

LOL so easy you only have to spend 15 minutes unscrewing 9 screws!!!
I'm sorry, but... seriously 9 screws isn't really conducive to the word easy!
But again I say, if you see no issues don't take the chance that you might void your warranty!

I think he meant easy as in, straight forward. I'd say unscrewing 9 screws is pretty darn easy if they're just sitting there and I don't have to hunt them down. :smile2:

nikki congrats enjoy your new system. All the other guys are stressed waiting for their G73's so ignore them.
Edit: I mean other than Anew.

Yes, you can just unscrew the screws then take out the black sticker on one of the vents in the bottom board, very easily done, and you won't void your warranty from just opening up the bottom panel, or changing the thermal compound in CPU/GPU unlike G73.
