What is the TV Tuner?

What exactly does the PCMCIA/USB TV Tuner do? Does it give me an easy way to plug a laptop into the TV or what? Sometime I might want to hook my computer to my TV, is there any way to connect a computer to a TV any other way or only through this tuner? Thanks for any help as usual Justin.

The TV Tuner gives you a cable input (like on the back of your TV Set) so you can watch TV on your laptop. All you need is Cable Service and plug it in :D

The Tuner also gives you more ways to import Video into the machine. The machine does have a S-Video out on it that can be used to connect to your TV.
