I've finally gotten to see and use my new 5793. It's been here at home waiting on me since the 15th, thanks to the quick shipping of xotic pc. Although I wasn't able to get home till today...and it was killing me :P

Might try and write a review here in a week or two.

Gotta install some games and get this thing setup.

Thanks xoticpc/staff and JustinW for the great system and awesome support!!! :D

hehe.. It seems that the post locations seem to be relaxed quite a bit... I don't think you have to worry about a Mod deleting your post :D

Yeah, I looked over the other forums..but it seemed this was the best fit since it was about an xotic pc and not a Q&A or off topic.

An update, I've played Oblivion and WOW. WOW with settings maxed out and am getting 40-60fps usually in the 50's. Not sure about Oblivion's fps but settings are maxed out just not running it at full res (will post what res after I play it next time.) It's running very well on the 8700 vid card. So far very happy and no dead pixels that I can find, so very very happy about that!!

Finger Print reader is nice. Although the webcam is working I'm getting an error when I start video view or when I try and click on anything once it's open...I'm sure this can be fixed and will look into it later.

Thanks again xotic pc!! :) :D

Heh, I guess your right. It's just funny seeing a post without a question, but I think I can help you with the web cam issue.

1. Hit Fn+F10 to disable web cam.
2. Uninstall cam driver and video view.
3. Restart computer.
4. Enable web cam and reinstall driver and video view.
5. Enjoy a lack of error messages.

I think this is a result of the method that the OS and drivers are installed in a manner that allows you to setup personal OS settings on your first boot. w/e

Finger Print reader is nice.
Thanks again xotic pc!! :) :D

Why?
So anyone with a pack of gummy bears can hack your print as it is being sent to a federal database?

Someone is a bit paranoid.... 1) It is very hard to hack the reader with a gummy bear or any other method, believe me my friends tried hard 2) Is anyone here planning to store information on their laptop that could threaten national security? The fingerprint reader is a nifty feature that allows you to log in quicky and amaze your friends. It is one of my favorite gadgets on my laptop :D .
